Before procuring a printer through a dealer, you should speak with them directly about the model you are interested in.
The SLC480W is a colour laser printer from Samsung. It produces excellent full colour output. It performs well providing quality multifunctional prints with low speeds and lots of useful features
It's a solid device, targeted at low volume workloads in a small office or a small office environment. We think it is best suited for small home offices with very light print requirements
This all-in-one printer comes with: printing, scanning and copying functionality as standard.
The Samsung SLC480W features a touch screen panel for printing and adjusting settings with ease and performing other useful tasks.
The SLC480W has acceptable full colour printing, with a print resolution of 600 x 600 DPI. There is an enhanced resolution function that also enables you to print at an even higher quality - should the need arise - although the print speed is a fair bit slower.
Offering A4 print speeds of up to 18 pages per minute, this printer will work for occasional printing but would struggle getting through even small print jobs efficiently. This printer also offers a time-to-first-page of 14 seconds meaning individual print jobs are completed efficiently.
Extra print features for this device include: Envelope printing and Printing on transparent material
The SLC480W comes ready to connect to a computer network. This allows it to be shared and utilised by multiple people on the same network. This printer comes with an ethernet port as standard.

We review all printers in comparison with each other - meaning that 1 star indicates that a printer is in the bottom 20% for that attribute or function. When shopping for a printer, you should keep the star rating in mind and compare it to the prices being offered - low rated printers, at cheap prices can be the perfect choice. Conversely, when thinking of purchasing an expensive printer - ensure that it is highly rated, or it is simply not worth paying extra for.
